private Classes
Private classes are a wonderful way to deepen your practice through one-on-one guidance, and to customize a class to fit your unique needs and preferences. Classes are held in the privacy of your home or at a location of your choice. During a free phone consult, we can discuss your preference for the style and pace of your class, as well as any health conditions or injuries. I have experience teaching beginners as well as experienced students. I offer gentle, backcare, chair, vinyasa flow, flow and yin, and strong flow style classes. Music can be contemporary or instrumental. Classes are taught in a secular manner. However, upon request, I also offer classes that infuse Eastern and/or yoga philosophy, or contemplative Christianity. Private classes for one individual are $75 for a 60-minute class and $85 for a 75-minute class. A discount is offered for a package of four scheduled classes. The class can be a one-time session, or we can schedule a weekly class at a designated time/day. A travel fee applies for distances over a 25-minute drive to your location.
I offer private group classes for Special Events such as women’s weekends, retreats, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, sports teams, or business retreats. Group privates are $100 for a 60-minute class (up to 10 individuals) and $150 for 11-20 students. A travel fee applies for distances over a 25-minute drive to your location.
I offer Employee Wellness Yoga at your business or corporation. Pricing is available upon request and determined based on location and the number of participants. Classes can be catered to your staff and can be offered in person or online.

Studio Classes
Yoga and Massage (YAM), Hendersonville, NC
MONDAYS:
Gentle Flow ~ 9 am ~ YAM’s Moon Studio, 1620 Brevard Rd., Hendersonville, NC
Ease into your day with a grounding series of gentle yoga stretches and postures that thoughtfully prepare your body for greater flexibility, strength, balance, and range of motion. Class is taught at a gentle pace, allowing time to comfortably connect your movement with the breath, to notice the nuances and subtleties of movement and breath in your body, and to utilize props where needed. By aligning a slow flow of movement with steady deep breaths, the mind finds stillness and clarity, the body finds openness, and we experience a greater sense of calm and peace within. A great option for anyone seeking a gentle version of vinyasa flow style of yoga.
WEDNESDAYS:
Flow & Yin (Warm) ~ 5:30-6:45 pm ~ YAM’s Sun Studio, 1620 Brevard Rd., Hendersonville, NC
In this warm, intermediate-level vinyasa class, flow through slow yet dynamic sequences that move fluidly from pose to pose, much like a moving meditation. A gradual warm-up builds internal heat and thoughtfully prepares your body for greater opening, strengthening, and toning--all while moving in cadence with the breath, applying various pranayama techniques throughout. For the last thirty minutes of class, wind down with longer-held yin poses that lead you into a soothing and restful savasana, finding stillness of mind, body, and spirit.

Indoor Kid Yoga
I offer a weekly 45-minute “Storytime Kid Yoga” at local preschools, for homeschool groups, and as special events at area studios and churches. As a former preschool teacher, I share my love for children’s stories by incorporating children’s books into our yoga classes. Instead of just listening to and viewing the book, we learn yoga poses related to the characters and features of the story, thus acting out the story as we read it! Classes always begin with centering and song as well as warm-up poses, including a fun sun salutation song and movement. The heart of the class is the story. We close the class with partner yoga, cool-down poses, and then resting pose. Through teaching mindfulness and simple breathing techniques, emotional regulation skills are taught weekly. Classes are taught in a secular manner. However, upon request, I also offer classes that infuse age-appropriate eastern and/or yoga philosophy, or contemplative Christianity.
The class ratio is 1:10
